Square and screw the legs. Each side of the rack is a simple "L" made from 2x6 lumber. The vertical 2x6 is 34 1/2 inches for an overall rack height of 36 inches. The horizontal 2x6 is 17 1/4 inches. To assemble the legs, align the corners at the bottom edge. Two inches in from these corners counter-bore and drive a 2 1/2-inch screw to connect the boards. Square the boards to 90 degrees. Then counter-bore and drive a second screw near the inside corner were the two boards meet. To avoid confusion during assembly, make both leg assemblies at once with one side a mirror image of the other. Drive a total of four screws into each leg connection.
