Finish the rack with a brace at the bottom. Use a 2x2 brace to add strength to the assembly. Mark the brace in place to establish the length (39 1/2 inches.) Once cut, secure the brace with 2 1/2-inch screws. An additional brace at the top (not seen in this photo) can be added to enable the rack to be easily secured to a wall. To add this brace, secure a 1x4 between the top of the legs at the back.
